The company was founded by Salvador Tous Blavi and Teresa Ponsa, a married couple who opened a small watchmaker's workshop in Manresa, near Barcelona. Over time, it transformed into a jewellery shop. The symbol and trademark of the brand is the world-famous Tous bear.
